Christmas

 A Religious and Cultural Festival

Christmas has now become not only a religious festival but also a cultural one.

As soon as the Christmas season begins around the world, the joy of the Christian community becomes visible. In the West, Christmas celebrations start as soon as December begins, and these celebrations continue with enthusiasm until the arrival of the New Year.

Christians believe that when a person feels the joy of Christmas within themselves, they feel that the unrest, bad thoughts, hatred, violence, and attitude of considering others inferior and lesser is being removed from within them. However, surprisingly, as soon as Christmas and the New Year are over, a person seems to return to their old ways, and within them, the same unrest, contempt and disrespect for others, oppression and tyranny over the weak, and the attitude of considering themselves superior to others seems to return, with a clear effect of "I" being evident. For this reason, peace-loving Christians have an innocent wish that the Christmas season would last throughout the year and never end.

The meaning of Christmas is happiness, hope, peace, and safety. Christians want to celebrate this festival of joy and peace with people all over the world. Therefore, in the West, you will clearly see examples such as free entry to everyday items, clothing, groceries, and entertainment spots for tourism, and these discounts are not just for Christians but for everyone living in those countries, regardless of their religion, sect, color, race, or gender. We can rightly say that Christmas has gained the status of a cultural festival along with being a religious festival, and it is awaited by everyone every year.

ghe birth of Lord Jesus Christ was in accordance with God's great plan, according to which He wanted to send a savior to the world to deliver humanity from their sins. He would raise the downtrodden and free people from their sins. His kingdom was not of this fleeting world but the kingdom of hpaeaven, which the rulers of that time could not understand, and surprisingly, the descendants of those same rulers still refuse to accept the "Christ." From my limited knowledge of religion, I believe that the second coming of Christ is also a mystery that cannot be understood without the wisdom given by God.

The fact that Christ was born in a poor household symbolized that God greatly loves the poor, and Christ clearly stated that "the poor are the heirs of God's kingdom." But if we look at it from a worldly perspective, every poor person spends their entire life trying to become rich, during which they exploit the weaker ones in some form. You can observe this clearly. Whether you look from the lower level to the upper level or vice versa, you will observe that every powerful individual seems to exploit others, whether on an individual or collective level, or whether it is a country, exploitation is happening in some form with the weak. Every powerful country seems to oppress others. In households, financially stronger siblings will dismiss the weaker one's every word as unimportant. In village councils, the poor person's opinion, no matter how important, will be dismissed. This is completely contrary to the teachings of Christ.

If you observe carefully, you will see that the whole life of "Christ" revolves around hope, peace, and security, in which there is no room for hatred, and He always encouraged forgiveness, an example also followed by the followers of other religions. Mahatma Gandhi also based the philosophy of non-violence on Christ’s teaching of forgiveness, which he openly expressed.

After the birth of Jesus, you will notice clear changes in the world. After the arrival of Christ, the world began to distinguish between Before Christ (BC) and After Christ (AD). The Christian calendar was established. The teaching of Christ to forgive His enemies stunned the world, and even today, Christianity is remembered for this very teaching. The philosophy of non-violence started to be seen from a new perspective in the world. The world was forced to rethink Christ's teaching, which spoke only of good news for the poor.

Christmas asks: In the present age, Christians claim to be the largest group in the world, and they talk about following Christ's example, but do they truly follow it in practice? Although the Holy Bible clearly states in an incident where Christ asked the woman who was about to be stoned for adultery by the Pharisees, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone," and surprisingly, no one could throw a stone at her. But in today's world, amidst all the sins, we continue to do the very things Christ forbade. We, trapped in sin, indulging in luxury, try to humiliate, degrade, and mock other weaker humans like ourselves. Even during our worship, it has become common to disprove our own church, scare them, instill the fear of hell, and force them to give "donations" under any circumstances. We constantly say, "I" am right, everyone else is wrong.

These are the common behaviors we observe every day, and yet, we still claim to be Christians, which is completely contrary to Christ’s teachings. Christmas asks: With such behavior, can we truly celebrate the joy of Christmas? Can we follow Christ’s role model without removing "I" from within us?

Let us, to double the joy of Christmas, individually and collectively pledge that the process of change will begin with ourselves. We will include the poor in the joy of Christmas at our level. We will remove "I" from within ourselves, give respect to all people, and we will practically prove the important message of Christ—"forgiveness"—by embracing it within us. Only by doing so can we truly celebrate the great day (Christmas).

intelligence people

There are certain things or signs
that indicate some level of intelligence

are you intelligent This is a question that can bother everyone for a few seconds because none of us can imagine ourselves as less intelligent or ignorant. Just as we never believe the first sentence, we do not usually believe that anyone else can be sane and intelligent.

This is a long discussion, but still there are certain things or signs that indicate some degree of intelligence. In common sense, we can call the most intelligent people far-sighted because they can not only understand the problems of life better than ordinary people, but can also take better steps to solve them.

Open-Mindedness and Creativity

One of the most important qualities of intelligent people is that they are always bright and open-minded, They are not the beggars of the line and the frogs of the well. Therefore, by no means stick to the traditional ways all the time and do not fall prey to the "status quo".

Crisis Management and Problem-Solving

Such people take quick steps to solve problems, rather it should be said that their brain works better in times of crisis. They examine problems both critically and constructively. Now, since they are visionary, their assessment of the pros and cons of a job is usually accurate. But it should also be noted that such people usually adopt practical ways to solve problems and do not shoot arrows in the air.

Don't value yourself 'Not satisfied Always looking for better and better and better

A very strange thing about these people is that they never rate themselves above average. Because they never consider their intelligence to be extraordinary, many times they are not even aware of their abilities. They think little of their achievements which may be very important and great to other people. The main reason for this is that they are not satisfied with themselves and keep working harder in search of the best. Be curious about anything, not just on one side of the wall

Sense of Humor and Emotional Control

A sense of humor and a sense of subtlety are both qualities that are characteristic of intelligent people. They never take the difficult times on themselves but become the source of happiness for the whole world. They try to make fun of difficult situations. But remember that this is only an attempt. They are also human and are affected by this problem and are ready to deal with it but they have complete control over their emotions.

Multitasking and Skill Development

Self-control in difficult situations is a very difficult task in itself, but intelligent people keep trying to get themselves out of this trouble. Smart people can multi-task, let's take the example of a housewife who is cooking Indian, watching morning show and looking after children at the same time.

Interpersonal Skills and Teamwork

Who doesn't want to learn new things and skills but it's not for everyone but it's a left hand game for smart people. They learn many skills and always have a passion for learning new things. Such people have creative abilities, so they do not hesitate to take any new risk and do their own thing.

An Easy Task to build better relations

It is not an easy task to build better relations with each other while living in a society because for this you have to understand each other, and different people also clash with each other due to differences in their environment and education. So it's very difficult to deal with it all with equanimity, but the smartest people work as a team, don't take credit for themselves, but appreciate hardworking people. He neither discourages himself nor discourages others by unnecessary criticism, but he knows people.

Procedure for asking questions

Such people also know that one way to spread knowledge is to ask questions, but those questions should be meaningful, not pointless and boring. It inquires about things and situations. The purpose of their questions is not to insult anyone but to increase their knowledge and knowledge.

Improve your morals, set an example for others, behave well and if you have the same qualities, improve it even more. And disappointment can't stop for long if we continue to improve it, we will become the best example for the society, because a good person is not less than an intelligent person. Because if intelligence is a quality, then a good person is a quality more than Together we are a lot They are happy and theirs

migration , Europe , Dream, Reality ,Tragedy

Along with economic problems, social pressures and family expectations also push people towards illegal migration

Europe has always been a dream for Pakistani people. A dream that some people take legal means to achieve, but some people, especially those with financial difficulties, resort to illegal means.

These paths are similar to gambling, but in this gambling, not money, but lives are at stake. If he wins, illegal entry into Europe is possible, but if he loses, he surrenders his life and his family's dreams to the merciless waves of the Mediterranean.

The problem of illegal migration through human trafficking is not new, but it has given rise to many tragic stories in recent years. According to the report of the Foreign Office, five Pakistani victims of human trafficking lost their lives during the night of 14 and 15 December 2024 while trying to enter the Greek maritime borders. Three of these unfortunate persons belonged to different districts of Punjab.

The most heartbreaking incident is the death of thirteen-year-old Muhammad Abid, whose name is included in the list of the dead. Under what compulsion would this young child, who had not even tasted the early joys of life, leave the affection of his parents and embark on this fatal journey? This question is enough to shake our social and national conscience.

A similar incident took place in the year 2023 as well, the major tragedy that sparked intense debate on the issue of human trafficking across Pakistan. About 262 people lost their lives in this tragedy. National and social media are hot on this topicHeated debates ensued and in the face of public pressure, the government made big claims and promises to end the problem. However, even today the question remains that why the government failed to implement these promises? Did the efforts to get to the root of the problems failed or were all these statements just temporary political tactics?

The question is, why do Pakistanis prefer to be a part of the dangerous game of death instead of living in their own country? If one considers the factors that force Pakistanis to migrate illegally, the fact emerges that these reasons are rooted in the failure of our social, economic, social and political system.

Among all these problems, the biggest and most fundamental problem is economic destruction. Rising.
Along with economic problems, social pressures and family expectations also push people towards illegal migration. Such individuals take dangerous paths in life in an attempt to fulfill their dreams. Those who take illegal routes, face life and death risks. Now we must discuss those who travel legally under duress.

Educated youth who are disillusioned with the prospect of a better future at home spend huge sums of money to go to Europe. Once there, they do menial jobs like security guards, hotel waiters, or taxi drivers, but these jobs earn more than any top job in Pakistan.

After all, how will it be tolerated?

This question makes the heart flutter whether the moment will be easy when a mother says goodbye to her child, or when a father sends his heart on the most difficult journey of life.

We are adherents of an ideology and belief in which governance is based on justice, mercy and welfare of the people. The same system in which it was said that if even a dog died of hunger on the bank of the river, then the account must be given to the ruler. History bears witness that our leaders used to stay awake at night and patrol the streets and neighborhoods to ensure that no one sleeps hungry. If there was knowledge of someone in need, the rulers themselves would have loaded the goods on their shoulders and reached out to help.

n the context of these examples, our current rulers need to think. Those people who die in search of better employment and life, they will also be held accountable by the rulers. This responsibility is not limited to stories of the past, but requires practical steps in today's era.

Educated youth who spend lakhs of rupees to go abroad are forced to do menial jobs. Engineers, doctors and masters degree holders who become security guards, hotel waiters or taxi drivers instead of working according to their qualifications are wasting their talents.

If suitable business opportunities are provided to these youth within the country, not only will their education and skills be properly utilized, but they will also be able to avoid being humiliated and humiliated. As a result, when the educated youth will play a role in the country's economy, the economy will be stable, the quality of life of the people will improve due to the increase in employment opportunities.

The sacrifices of those who lose their lives in search of better employment is enough to make us realize that we have to reform our economic, social and political systems. Only then will we be able to become a strong and independent nation, where no one has to risk their lives to fulfill their dreams.
