 Healthy" or "Principles for Maintaining Good Health



Maintaining good health is a dream
that resides in everyone's eyes. Because health is a divine blessing through which a person can effectively carry out their daily activities. There is a famous saying, "What does a blind person want? Two eyes." Similarly, a sick person also desires good health.

Today, if we look around
our hospitals are filled with sick people. Every other person appears to be suffering from some ailment. After every prayer in mosques, the imam's voice echoes, requesting prayers for the sick. Despite advancements in science, medicines, and numerous prayers, why do diseases continue to increase? This is a complex issue, but today I am attempting to present some methods through which you can transform yourself from a lethargic and unhealthy life to a vigorous and healthy one in just a few days.



Health and well-being are sensitive subjects,
and as a nation, we tend to exaggerate every health-related matter. If someone meets a doctor, everyone becomes ill, and if someone talks about their ailment, we all become medical experts, suggesting traditional remedies along with contradictory dietary advice. Even if we don't have definitive knowledge of the consequences.


According to health experts,
 to a significant extent, a healthy life can be embraced through the following fundamental ways. You can see changes in your health in just ten days by adopting these principles. The reality is that there are many easy ways to transform health and well-being, which you can start using immediately. Some of these are:

(1)     Eat to live, not live to eat. When you eat for taste or pleasure, you also take in foods that are harmful to your health. Therefore, strive to eat for energy.
(2)     Engage in brisk walking for some time every day. Walking burns excess calories in your body.
(3)   Avoid sugary drinks. Drink fresh fruit juice and prepare it at home. Consume plenty of water.
(4)     Use more vegetables instead of meat. You might have noticed that whenever doctors advise abstinence, they mention everything except vegetables. No disease forbids any vegetable. Moreover, for weight loss, leaving meat and opting for vegetables is the best solution. You don't have to become a vegetarian, but give importance to vegetables over meat.


"O children of Adam! 
Take your adornment at every masjid and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess." (Quran 7:31)
Five daily prayers, using the siwak, washing your body parts with water for ablution, keeping yourself clean, applying fragrance, dividing your stomach into three parts with one-third for food, one-third for water, and one-third left empty are principles for a healthy life. If you just adopt these for yourself, you can lead a healthy life.
