15 Places on Earth Where Gravity Doesn't Seem to Work (P2)

15 Places on Earth Where Gravity Doesn't Seem to Work (P2)

The Oregon Vortex

open to visitors since 1930 the Oregon vortex is a must-see roadside attraction located in Gold Hill Oregon USA this area defies gravity vortex creating the illusion to the phenomenon it also has a bone-chilling back-story what more could anyone want built on what is believed to be ancient Native American forbidden land this area is prone to paranormal events dating back centuries the attraction consists of many interesting effects and optical illusions and is one of the oldest in the area people are drawn from near and far to see the place where bubble levels tape measures yard sticks uphill ball rolling and plumb lines are used to demonstrate its anti-gravity properties the paranormal effect creates a 165-foot magnet radius which is said to be the cause of the Vending light altering of masses and gravity defiance I don't know about you but the combination of paranormal activity and a lack of gravity sounds like the perfect mix to me this is a must-see for the adventurers to-do list don't you agree

The Mysterious Road in South Korea

the world really is a fascinating place fascinating it can often leave you speechless this mystery in Juju South Korea is one that'll have you guessing well after you have visited an optical illusion in the form of a mysterious roads that defies gravity lies on gravity hill the road is on a slight downward incline but actually looks like it slopes uphill it really is quite the unusual sight so right now the car is in neutral yes in fact it makes you want to blink to check if what you're seeing is real this is caused by the illusion that the surrounding land and layout is flat a gravity hill area can make it seem like a car that is left out of gear and with no foot on the accelerator can move uphill by itself this area can also make water appear like it's flowing upwards people who have experienced the mysterious road can't believe their eyes when their cars look to be travelling uphill by themselves the mysterious road runs for about 100 meters and has a clearly marked starting and end point if you're visiting this area you better like crowds because there are literally thousands of tourists flooding to witness this phenomenon each year

Gold in Rock Myanmar

a gold in Rock Myanmar for many centuries the Golden Rock has been defying the laws of gravity located in maan state Myanmar the key Ike t.o.p goda or Golden Rock is a 611 ton giant it is huge measuring 5 meters high and with a circumference of 50 feet so there's a section just up here that you can walk onto and stick some gold leaf onto the rock it sits within a world-renowned Buddhist pilgrimage site that houses a small pagoda which is built on top of the granite boulder these attractions each become a thing of beauty when the Sun reflects off their surfaces creating a golden gleam the boulder is precariously perched up high on the side of Mount kikuyu and is said to be held by just one strand of the Buddha's hair whether that's true or not remains to be seen but it's sir only adds to the rocks of he'll at first glance it looks like the boulders floating in the air and perhaps even on the verge of rolling down the cliff the rock hangs off the Cliffside by at least half its actual size sitting above a vertical drop over the deep valley below travelers come to see the rock from all over the world most believe that a mere glimpse will be blessing enough and they lay gifts and food as an offering to the gods this golden beauty is well worth a look but I would hate to be up close if it were to ever slip

Stone of Davasko Argentina

stone of davasko Co Argentina in a fight between a boulder and gravity gravity is the clear winner the davasko co stone as it was named sat quite nicely upon the face of a massive rock formation before gravity pushed it over the edge but before it fell it spent thousands of years perched up on the hill defying gravity could you imagine being taunted for that many years poor gravity I bet it was pleased when the boulder finally fell the fallen 300 ton boulder which split into several pieces on impact was replaced by a nine-ton plastic replica that is fixed to the rock formation around it the stone of de Vasco has many legends and stories surrounding it many believing that when people began to settle in the area a king's favorite son was responsible he not only brought them to the area he also taught them cattle breeding and farming when he left he promised the people he would return leaving the huge stone on the top of the mountain as a reminder he is also said to have put a spell on it to ensure it didn't fall into the abyss below scientists have a more plausible explanation they believe the stone appeared to defy gravity due to small stones halting its movement and keeping it stable for all those years whatever the reason for its gravity-defying properties and its subsequent fall from grace I'm glad I wasn't there to witness it fall because you imagine the noise not to mention the trembling of the earth below that would have been some earthquake

Rua do Amendoim peanuts street

Rua do Amendoim peanuts street don't leave your car  unattended on peanuts tree it may just get stolen by an invisible force yeah that's right peanuts Street has an invisible thief cars that stop on this anti-gravity street seem to slowly roll uphill gaining speed as they flee the scene so you best put your brakes on or you might fall foul of the law many explanations have been tossed around for these strange happenings from the obvious theft theory to the hill being haunted there's also a suggestion that there might be a huge deposit of iron beneath the street which draws vehicles uphill with its magnetic pull and the car goes uphill this cars going uphill however in reality this is all just an optical illusion as the street appears to have a steep incline but there is in fact an unnoticeable dip in the road peanut Street is in Brazil and it's a street that creates a lot of attention puzzle drivers and pedestrians often gather to try and figure out the case of this magic and mysterious street

Places on Earth Where Gravity Doesn't Seem to Work (P1)

Upside-Down Waterfall

upside-down waterfall on the outer cliffs of Oahu Hawaii you will find a truly stunning sight the real tourist attraction but not for the reason you may think the waifu Heeia falls are not Falls as their name suggests in fact they don't appear to fall anywhere instead their waters Spray high into the sky giving them the nickname of upside-down waterfall they're observed from a distance to ensure the watcher is not completely washed away and only appear during the rainy season the reason for this abnormality has more to do with the 100-foot cliff that it sits upon rather than many type of magic as the water falls to the sea below strong winds push the water back upwards it then sprays towards the land above essentially making the Falls up here as if they're traveling backwards instead of forwards and if this sight alone isn't enough to knock your socks off the waterfall also shields a tin cave that sits in the middle of the cliff it would make the perfect hiding place if you never want it to be found if you think you might like to visit this extraordinary landmark I suggest you plan ahead the journey starts with asteep slippery slope and winds through the forests the track is marked with colored ribbons and chasten to aid in a safe return but be careful it is a hazardous trip for child or animal and make sure to pack your towel before we bird is it a plane no it's a levitating rock yeah you saw it here first the rock in this picture appears to be airborne and if it sizes anything to go by it can't have just been thrown in the air for the photo this is one hefty Rock Oh at least it appears to be we don't really know is the photo simply a fine example of trick  photography like those of the Eiffel Tower taken at such a distance it appears to be sitting in the palm of an  outstretched hand has the photo been altered to make it seem more intriguing than it really is or maybe this is one of the places on earth that are like space where gravity doesn't exist what possible explanation could there be for this unusual phenomenon do you have any ideas as always comment down below with

Santa Cruz's Mystery Spot

Santa Cruz is well known for its  moderate climate natural environment coastlines and redwood forests however hidden amongst the land is the Mystery Spot of gravity hill .this spot is said tilted nature located within the redwood forests of Santa Cruz California this mysterious spot has captured the hearts and minds of tourists the whole world over it has been open for visitors since 1914 gravity Hill is a destination like no other it warps visitors perception of the height and orientation of many objects in the area buildings appear slanted the water seems to run upwards balls roll uphill and people can even lean forward on a 45-degree angle without fallen flat on their face you may be scratching your head as to how all this works well although the mystery behind gravity hill has been speculated upon for years no answer has been found some believe a spacecraft was secretly buried beneath the earth causing an electronic force to move through the ground others believe it is carbon dioxide permeating from the earth who knows perhaps you have your own theory

Magnetic Hill in Canada

as the terrain rises and falls an optical illusion is created an illusion that makes the spectator wonder where they stand and what is going on this is exactly how you would feel if  you visited Magnetic Hill located at the  northwestern edge of Moncton Canada the hill creates quite the surprise for guests with it's unusual surroundings many people who have travelled along the roads and through the hills have discovered a strange phenomenon when a car is sat at the top of a hill it naturally runs downwards due to gravity but at Magnetic Hill things run a little differently in fact it might sound crazy but cars can actually travel upwards from the bottom of the hill with no acceleration this strange irregularity is said to occur in just one spot baffling people for over 80 years cannot see the horizon line these hills appear to be an incline but are actually a part of a larger downhill decline this is just crazy and must be seen to be believed

Mount Our GATS Armenia

Armenia if you have plans to travel the world you may want to make a stop near the border of Turkey and Armenia here you will lay witness to an antigravity phenomenon cars appear to go uphill by themselves and streams that should flow downhill don't it's a crazy sight to see in fact you may want to pinch yourself to make re you aren't dreaming mount our GATS is the exact location that you will experience this abnormality an extinct volcano our Ghats is now the highest mountain in armenia the fact that it's an extinct volcano as people suggesting that this is the reason why you these bizarre events occur however the scientific reason behind this is the fact that the horizon line cannot be seen between the rises and falls of the surrounding landscape giving the misinterpretation of level ground to take in the true beauty of this area there is a hiking trail around the mountain this trail is said to take up to 8 hours so it may pay to pack a pair of comfortable shoes

Hoover Dam

Hoover Dam surely you've all heard of the Hoover Dam if you haven't I don't know where you've been hiding the Hoover Dam located in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River in the United States is noted for being a concrete arch gravity dam like its name suggests the dam creates a vacuum with many people traveling to it to try and pour water off the side what happens to that water however is what leaves them in complete amazement although it's poured downwards out of their bottles and over the side it then ends up spraying back up towards them the cause of this is simple it all comes down to the shape of the dam and the wind it is effectively like throwing a ball at a brick wall the wind hits the side of the dam and needs somewhere to go the shape of the dam propels the wind upwards creating an updraft this ultimately catches the poured out water pushing it upwards towards the sky the wind catches the water because it's light so don't throw anything else over org you might bedisappointed

15 DEEPEST Holes on Earth (P3)

15 DEEPEST Holes on Earth (P3)

The Black Hole  of Andros

while the Bahamas are home to many blue holes in the oceans on one of the islands is something far less welcoming and much more mysterious it was found on South Andros and is referred to as a black hole because of the dark color of its water it's been measured to be around a hundred and fifty four feet deeper and rather than being formed by water erosion this hole has been formed by chemical erosion this is a place of important scientific interest because the water here is just like what the oceans were around three and a half billion years ago and can show us what it was like when the first life-form could begin to emerge only official science missions are allowed to dive here that soon becomes clear why at a depth of around 60 feet there's a three-foot thick purple layer that's made up of extremely toxic bacteria that are surrounded by hydrogen sulfide as you approach it it looks so dark than at first you'd think it was the floor of the hole but beneath it is a whole different world it's a boundary that separates the oxygenated water above with the deoxygenated water below and it this region that researchers are most interested in exploring it's not fully clear what is down there but it's hoped that improved diving technology will allow teams to explore it more fully than ever before it's

Son Doing cave

have a song dumb cave in the faun narky ban National Park in Vietnam was only first discovered in 1991 but after a recent exploration it's been found to be the largest known cave anywhere on earth at 3.1 miles long 660 feet high and 490 feet wide you could easily fit a New York apartment block inside and still have room to spit more recently a river in the cave has been found to connect with a nearby cave so it's now regarded as being much bigger than had originally been thought it's deep within the forest so is it very difficult to get to and has been carved by water from the limestone rock over the past five or six million years it contains some of the largest stalagmites ever seen with some reaching up to 230 feet tall an enormous cave poles have been found that are the size of baseballs the cave also has its own ecosystem with creatures that have specifically adapted to its environment efforts have been made to limit the number of visitors to preserve the cave as best as possible but with current plans being to build a cable car through it these attempts may ultimately be in  vain

Hole in Oregon's Lost Lake

Oregon's Lost Lake normally covers an area of about 79 acres and during the winter is quite shallow and surrounded by pine and willow trees when you see it like this there doesn't seem to be much this unusual about this place it's just like any other lake right but you'd be wrong because the true mystery of this place only reveals itself during the summer months the level of the lake begins to lower and act about the same time every year a giant hole opens up within it that sucks away all of the water the lake completely vanishes and they soon covered by a flourishing meadow but how is this possible the answer is that there are two large lava tubes that lead from the lake and it's through these that all the water escapes they're always there and don't just decide to open whenever they please but they do have a limited capacity that they can drain at any one time during the fall and winter when it's the rainy season the amount of water that enters  the lake exceeds the amount that's being drained out so it fills up when things are drier in the summer the opposite  becomes true and that's why the lake seems to magically disappear

Gates Of Hell

gates of hell if there ever was a place on earth that's truly the Gateway to the underworld then there's a hole in the Karakul desert in Turkmenistan that certainly can lay claim to be anything in 1971 Soviet geologists was searching for natural gas deposits and drilled through the crust about four miles away from the small village of Dewey's they hadn't no idea how much gas they were about to find and it would turn out to be far more than they could handle a large cavern opened up and the drilling rig along with some of the scientists fell into the hole a crater was formed that was 230 feet wide and 65 and a half feet deep and it began to release vast quantities of methane into the atmosphere even back then this was seen as a dangerous problem so scientists came up with a solution that set fire to it to burn all of the methane and haven't run out within a week they threw a grenade in to start the fire but their plan didn't go as expected almost fifty years later the flames continued to burn and it's actually become one of the country's most popular tourist sites despite investigations into how to extinguish the flames once and for all however no one has any solution beyond letting it burn itself out next time someone lectures you about the amount of methane that's released to make that delicious steak you've ordered just point them in the direction of this place

15 DEEPEST Holes on Earth( P2 )

15 DEEPEST Holes on Earth ( P2 )

Sinkhole

what a mile a sinkhole don't matter where you live there's always a slight risk that a sinkhole could open up beneath your home or Street and swallow up everything above it luckily these events are quite rare but human activity can on some occasions make it far more likely this image was taken of a sinkhole that opened up in the streets of Guatemala City in 2010 and as you can see the 300 foot deep and 60 foot wide crater took everything with him sinkholes aren't that uncommon in the city after all he was built in a place where the first few thousand feet of ground is made up of volcanic debris that can be eroded more easily than normal earth but this particular hole  was much bigger than anyone thought possible after investigation though it began to appear increasingly likely that it was the result of construction works it happened soon after a rainstorm that saturated the ground with water and would have disturbed the top layer but it's thought that either a burst water pipe or a drain pipe have been releasing water into the cavity for far longer and it's slowly been carving the hole out and just needed an extra push to open it luckily when it happened there were no people above it because if they had been it wouldn't have stood a chance

Sinkhole in Louisiana

this video was recorded by John Boyd wrote a resident of bio court in Louisiana and as you'll see it shows how quickly a sinkhole can open and how destructive it can be Venus friends have noticed the trees moving in a telltale way and they were sure a sinkhole was about to open up beneath the flooded ground and sat on a boat they trained their camera on the area and waited for the inevitable take place at first they're moving so slowly it's not even clear what's happening but they start to sink at a much faster rate and it hardly seems real the water starts raging and the trees begin to plummet into the gap that's opened up beneath them and in just a few moments that gone without a trace sinkholes are surprisingly common there are more than,  6,500 insurance claims the damage caused  by them each year in Florida alone no records are kept of the total number across the US but it likely numbers in the hundreds of thousands if you include ones that aren't reported so next time you feel the ground shake and brace yourself for an earthquake just make sure you're not actually experiencing one these open it up instead

The Dead Sea holds

the Dead Sea is so named because the water has such high mineral concentrations but in recent years changes in the environment have led to a series of giant sinkholes open it up on its shores the sea is actually shrinking and a surprisingly fast rate of about 3 feet a year because water has been diverted away from the rivers that feed it the consequence of this is now making it dangerous for visitors and raising questions about whether people should even be allowed to go there at all as the salty water recedes fresh groundwater wells up through the ground and dissolves the layers of salt that have been deposited by the sea over thousands of years this creates large cavities beneath the surface and once they breach through the top layer a sinkhole is formed there's no pattern to where they appear and efforts are underway to try and predict where the next ones will form without the ability to do so there'll be an increase in danger that  some will be sucked in and if they are  they'll be virtually no way to rescue them

Udhas Naiya pipe

the Udhas nays pipe is a deposit of diamonds in the  sakha republic in Russia it's just outside the Arctic Circle and since it was first discovered in 1955 it has become the third deepest open-pit mine in the world owned in the troll by Hal Rosa a Russian diamond company it descends more than 2,100 feet beneath the surface and is one of the most productive diamond mines in the world is estimated to contain in the region of 225 point 8 million carats of diamonds which equate to a weight of 45 point 16 tones and with the current technologies more than ten point four million carats are retrieved every year when you see the mine in all its glory from aerial shots you can see how astonishingly huge it is the ridges along its walls are purposefully designed to provide ground access for vehicles into the central pit of the mine and with current progress operations should be able to continue for at least another 20 years when all the diamonds have been removed however no one quite knows what will happen to the hole it'll likely just be left there rather than being filled in and will remain a testament to the extent we as a species will go to acquire the things we  deem most valuable

The forest of Guan XI

China's forest of guanxi is a huge region covered with a thick canopy of trees but when a giant sinkhole opened up in the researchers were desperate to take a closer look what they'd find when they got there in 2018 was what they described as a world-class geological wonder the sinkhole leads to a huge underground cavern that has an estimated volume of 236 million cubic feet the expedition team carefully lowered themselves the 387 feet to the cave floor and measured the structure has been 328 feet wide and 656 feet long in it there are stone corridors holes craters stone pillars and strange rock formations called cave pearls which are formed by water that passes over small pieces of stones over centuries and they smooth them into perfect spheres they also discovered a shaft that led from the cave into an underground river which itself led to the nearby pan yang River discoveries like this are vital to understanding what lies beneath the surface of our planet and it's thought that the crust could be more like a honeycomb than being made of a thick rock there could potentially be thousands of caves of this size underneath the surface across the world and we'd have very little chance of knowing about them until it's too late.

15 DEEPEST Holes on Earth(P1)

DEEPEST Holes on Earth(P1)

  • Holes in Siberia

at the vast frozen plains of Siberia are some of the most remote and inhospitable places on earth but some of the most unusual are to crater like holes that were discovered in the permafrost they’ve led to number of theories as to what could have caused them are they the marks left behind by an alien spaceship perhaps the result of a meteor that broke in half before it landed on the ground or something else entirely on the deleted theories and perhaps more surprising than anything else involves a little that we actually know about permafrost regions like this it's long been known that the frozen ground contains large amounts of gas and carbon deposits and when it thaws it releases it all into the atmosphere could it be possible that after releasing what it contains large enough gaps are formed that can cause the ground to sink in on itself researchers are now starting to believe this is more likely and expect to see phenomena like this forming far more frequently throughout the frozen regions on earth.

  • The Hole in Lake Berryless

Lake Berryless is one of the largest man-made water deposits in California but in recent years something truly strange has been happening with the appearance of a gigantic hole when you see images of it happening it looks bizarre but the reason behind this is vital to the protection of local communities the lake is held in place by a dam and provides water to homes and businesses across the region it was built with a 72 foot diameter pipe in it just in case the water levels rise too high and threaten the integrity of the dam and in recent years that's exactly what happened when you see the water at a lower level the glory hole as it's known looks like a concrete structure in  line with the rest of the dam when the hole was built in 1957 officials only thought it would be needed every 50 years or so but the change in climate in the past few years has meant that much more rain is falling the normal that the hole has been needed almost every year despite channeling 48,000 cubic feet of water per second it doesn't create strong current tourism and so it isn't considered to be a danger to boaters and other users of the lake that doesn't mean you should be overconfident lyric however because in 1997 one swimmer was sucked into it and her body was found downstream three hours later.

  •  lady boa reservoir

and lady boa reservoir is used by seven Trent water company to collect and provide water to nearby communities in England and Wales but with unpredictable rain patterns in the area and occasionally to giant holes begin to suck huge volumes of liquid out of the facility to stop it from overflowing known the shaft spillways they're located on opposite sides of the reservoir and normally look like construction sites each one has a diameter of 78 feet and lead to pipes that drop 66 feet down and join the River Derwent the spectacular sight when  water levels rise and begin to pour into these holes has led to some venturing much closer to them than would be recommended recent images showed two kayakers paddling around them but things could have ended tragically the company responsible for managing the dam says that you'd risk serious injury if you were to go into one and even if you survived the ordeal you'd still need a rescue team to retrieve you because the outlet into the river is covered by grates to prevent people from climbing up them

Dean's Blue Hole

the Bahamas is known around the world for the beautiful beaches incredible sea life and wonderfully warm and clear water but there's an amazing structure just off the coast of Clarence town on Island a place called dean's blue hole blue holes are formed when a sinkhole opens up underwater and the entrance remains beneath the surface this one is one of the deepest that's ever been discovered and descends to around 663 feet and at the top it takes on a circular shape that's about 100 feet once you go 66 feet deep into it it opens up into a cavernous around 330 feet across the water here is incredibly clear and on a good day the visibility can be as far as 115 feet the stillness of the water means then it's a popular site for free divers and is where many of the free diving depth records have been set in the past decade since 2008 it has been the location of the annual vertical blue competition the Seas divers coming from all over the world and to see how far into the depths they can reach on one breath

desert hole

depends in on the desert you're looking at sand dunes can be transient features that shift and move in whatever direction to prevail and wind is blowing such as the ones that can be found at Mount Baldy in the Indiana Dunes National Lake shore hide other secrets that for a long time no one had any idea where they're in 2013 a six year old boy was walking across the Jews when suddenly he vanished beneath the sand into a huge hole the rescue effort took three hours to retrieve him after he ended up more than 11 feet below the sand and sediment since then more holes like this have begun to appear and force authorities to close the park that's just 55 miles to the southeast of Chicago for a while they had no idea what was happening but after scanning the region with ground-penetrating radar they came across an answer old photos had shown the area to once be full of trees which had since been covered over by the sand as water seeped through the debris is decaying and leaving gaps and instabilities in the sand all it takes is slight pressure from above and the whole lot can collapse there's no fix to this problem because it's being caused by the unstable foundations of the Jews as a right now access to the region is strictly controlled

15 Most Dangerous Places on Earth P3-End

15 Most Dangerous Places on Earth (P3-End)

our planet Earth has some of the most breathtaking landscapes but unlike tourist fills cities and towns there are a few places no human should ever dare to visit here are the 15 most dangerous places on earth

kawah Ijen Volcano Indonesia

seeing the breathtaking and mesmerizing blue  lava like rivers of light might seem like a futuristic movie scene but in reality it's extremely poisonous kawah ijen lake a stunning  turquoise lake sits at the peak of Kiawah ijen volcano and at night electric blue flames can be seen rolling down the mountain  sides the absolutely jaw-dropping lake is full of hydrochloride acid which is more corrosive than battery acid the hydrogen  chloride gas spewing from the volcano collides with sulfur containing gases and creates a powerful chemical that is  unimaginably corrosive the Greek Canadian explorer George Coronas once again had the opportunity to explore one of the  world's most dangerous places the adventurer took a small rubber boat out into the acid lake to measure its acidity it's just a  toxic lake of sulfuric acid but they possibly go wrong the pH of the water was measured to be as low as 0.1 3 but even though  this volcano and Lake are clearly dangerous and deadly to humans miners still risk their lives to collect the accumulated sulfur  George had watched these miners hard at work and recalls how the only protection they had was a wet rag stuffed into their  mouths sulfur dioxide gas would still leak through and dissolve away their front teeth beautiful as it may seem the kawah ijen  volcano and lake is one of the most dangerous places on earth

Mount Washington New Hampshire

the United States it's a widely known fact that Mount Everest is not only the  tallest mountain in the world but is also the most dangerous mountain on earth and while no other great summit can come close  to the incredible height and perplexity of Mount Everest there's one other mountain in the world that holds a substantial title  known as the most dangerous small mountain in the world Mount Washington in New Hampshire is any hikers worst nightmare but what exactly makes this peak so hazardous it's clearly not the height but the  wind in April 1934 the highest ever wind velocity of 231 miles per hour was recorded on Mount Washington even at wind  speeds of 60 miles per hour hiking becomes nearly impossible powerful blowing winds and cold weather combined to intensify  hypothermia freezing temperatures that drop to negative 40 Fahrenheit and continuous heavy snowfalls make Mount Washington  a truly dangerous place to visit daredevil hikers who see this mountain as a beatable obstacle do heavy research before starting their unforgettable journey  meticulous calculations have to be made in order to begin the adventure with appropriate weather with over 150 recorded  fatalities since 18-49 it's paramount to embark on such an adventure extremely prepared and organized .

Lake Nose  Cameroon

The silent but deadly lake Norse turned out to be much more dangerous than scientists first assumed macness  located  in Cameroon Central Africa seemed like an innocent beautiful lake surrounded by small villages at first glance no one could  expect this quiet blue and picturesque Lake to be more than just a pool of water but the narrative changed on one fateful August  night in 1986 a tall fountain of water started spouting out of Lake nose the fountain soon released a white cloud of gas which  grew bigger by the minute it reached 300 feet in height and spread over to the nearby villages residents soon started to lose  consciousness and collapse on the ground the gas turned out to be carbon dioxide at concentrations greater than 15 percent  arbon dioxide can be lethal and on that August night more than 1,700 villagers died on the spot co 2 can be kept under Lakes  and surrounding rocks for decades when a volcano erupts it emits dangerously high amounts of carbon dioxide this compound  has the ability to pass through rocks and slowly dissolve in the groundwater if this event takes place near a lake carbon dioxide  eventually saturates the water leaving it to be extremely dangerous and hazardous while most cases have dissolved under water  carbon dioxide over turn reach the surface and eventually dissolve in the atmosphere this didn't happen to Lake Nepos poisonous  gas remained trapped underclothing triggered its release and resulted in over 1,700 deaths

Fraser island Australia

A fun way to spend a hot summer day is to pack your suitcase and head to the beach everyone enjoys a refreshing entertaining time at the beach swimming and tanning alongside your friends and family but one beach that's categorically forbidden is located on Fraser island just off the southeastern coast of Queensland Australia stands a beautifully mesmerizing Beach but unlike your local shores Fraser island is the  Number one most dangerous beach in the world. Every aspect of the beach is unsafe and  extremely hazardous from the ocean water and beach sand to the animals and water species that inhabit this land no part of  Fraser island is considered to be bearable deep inside the ice-cold waters live Irukandji jellyfish and blue bottles tentacle species  with powerful stinging abilities how can sand be dangerous you may ask as the sand in the lakes can't be seen enthusiastic  swimmers choose to go headfirst into the water without any hint of how shallow the water truly is as far as animal inhabitants go  most have heard of the infamous Australian dog species the dingoes and unlike our human companions and loyal dogs these  species aren't as friendly to people as one might assume they are wild undomesticated predators that can attack anyone or  anything that triggers aggression or irritation as there are thousands of beaches across the world there is no logical reason to visit  fraser island without a death wish

Elephant Kingdom Thailand

the elephant kingdom located in Conjure  Thailand is  thought to be the world's most terrifying tourist attraction  whilst cities and towns all over the world offer beautiful scenery and  historic castles this particular tourist attraction offers something completely different even though the name elephant kingdom  might make you think this famous Thailand destination is stretched-out land inhabited by elephants in reality it's something quite  the opposite have you ever wanted to climb into a metal cage and feed reptiles well the notorious elephant Kingdom offers just  that tourists from all over the world gather in Conjure in the hopes of feeding live ten foot long crocodiles only separated by a  metal cage that has kept afloat with plastic barrels there was little to no barrier against the deadly reptiles tourists on board of the  metal cages often don't realize that they themselves could end up being the crocodiles meals the small caliber rafts were often  broken down and unsafe the empty plastic barrels that held up the cage would often sink or move adding suspense to the  already tense situation when a tourist captured the now viral photo of tourists dangling food for the reptiles social media went  berserk the international outcry forced the Thai government and local police to finally step in and take proper measures this  extremely dangerous and over-the-top park was finally shut down in 2016 on the counts of numerous safety hazards.

Danakil desert Eritrea
